About Tarran Tech

A UK IT provider built around a simple idea: the best support call is the one nobody needed to make.

Who we are

Built by engineers, not by a sales floor

Tarran Tech exists because small businesses kept being offered one of two bad options: a break-fix provider whose income depends on things going wrong, or a large managed service company where a business of thirty people is too small to get anyone's attention.

We run the model we'd want as a customer. Fixed monthly cost so support is never rationed. Heavy investment in automation and monitoring so problems get resolved before they interrupt anyone. Direct access to the engineers who actually know your environment.

We're deliberately Microsoft-focused. Depth in one ecosystem beats shallow familiarity with five, and it means your tenant is managed by people who know what the settings actually do.

What we won't do

  • Hold your domains, tenants or licences hostage
  • Bill by the hour for work we should have prevented
  • Sell a licence upgrade you don't need
  • Hide behind jargon when something goes wrong
  • Tie you into a multi-year contract to make leaving painful
  • Promise that a product makes you unbreachable

Our approach

Four principles we actually run on

Prevent, then fix

Every recurring ticket is treated as a defect in the environment. We fix the cause rather than becoming very efficient at repeating the same repair.

Automate the routine

Onboarding, offboarding, patching and reporting run as automated workflows. Consistent, documented, and immune to the day someone is off sick.

Secure by default

Security isn't an upsell tier. Baselines, MFA, monitoring and tested backups are part of the standard service because a breach is not an optional risk.

Explain it plainly

You get the actual situation and a clear recommendation, including when the honest answer is that something isn't worth spending money on.

Who we work with

Where we fit best

We work with UK organisations from around five to two hundred users - large enough that IT failures cost real money, small enough that an internal department isn't justified.

Professional services

Accountants, solicitors, consultancies and agencies - client confidentiality, document-heavy workflows and regulatory obligations to evidence.

Trade & construction

Site-based teams on mobile devices, plant and project data to protect, and head-office systems that have to stay reachable from anywhere.

Manufacturing & logistics

Operational systems that cannot stop, ageing line-of-business software, and a real need for network segmentation and tested recovery.

Charities & non-profits

Tight budgets, volunteer turnover and donor data that carries genuine obligations. Non-profit licensing helps considerably, and we'll set it up.

Growing businesses

Companies whose IT was set up when they had eight people and is now creaking at forty, with no clear owner and no documentation.

Co-managed teams

Organisations with an internal IT person who needs monitoring, security tooling, out-of-hours cover and someone to escalate to.

Next step

Have a conversation first

No pitch deck and no sales engineer. A discussion about what's working, what isn't, and whether we're the right fit for each other.
